This place located in the Junction area of Toronto is a real gem. You can tell that a lot of love was put into its design. From the themed booths (sci-fi, mystery, gothic, etc) to just sit or eat or play in, to its cyber-punk feel, it had it all. There was a great selection of beverages -beers, cocktails, wines; even smoothies, bubble tea, coffee, etc. Staff that was super-friendly, knowledgeable and provided us with great service. A menu that was extensive and food, that when it arrived, was delicious. And games, lots and lots of games. A full wall was dedicated to board games: traditional, fantasy and horror ones. Playing a few was a lot of fun. Near the board games were placed comic books, art books and graphic novels. There was also a vast selection of video games from almost every gaming console imaginable, old and new, that you can play right there. This venue I was told also hosts Magic Drafts and special events and parties, such as kawaii or goth or punk nights in the upstairs. The upstairs was huge and has a patio that is available during the day. All in all it was a cozy and fun atmosphere, with decent prices, and as a unique concept place to visit alone or with friends, that celebrates the imagination, sci-fi, geek and pop culture, you cant go wrong. Go for the fun, the games, the drinks, the food. Ill definitely be going back.
