I can’t remember how many times I have been here but from brunch, dinner to just drinks I have never been disappointed. I hate recommending this place because it is so intimate and has such limited seating I am afraid the more people know about it the harder it will be to get a seat. Way too many good things to fit on a review. You just have to go there to experience it. All I can say is that from day one when I am there I am relaxed, comfortable and feel welcomed which is a tough find in Toronto bars.
After l came back from living in London, England, I needed a local. Thank goodness the HITW had recently reopened! Great craft brews, housemade cocktail garnishes and the best negroni this side of Liguiria! If that was all they had, it’d still be a great pub, but the food that comes out of the tiny kitchen is some of the best I’ve had in Canada. The Porcetta sandwich is beyond amazing! The cheese board has rotating canadian cheeses! I know it sounds like I’m exaggerating, but please go this Junction gem and try it out!
Where have you been all this time? New fave place!. Me and the lady have always been dissapointed in our search for a local hangout in the junction. We must have walked past a million times but never knew it was even there. A google search got me interested.Its a cozy inviting neighborhood bar with a really interesting eclectic menu that changes weekly. Good local brews, great service, and live music at night. We will definately be back.
Great Vibe!. I love the atmosphere in the Hole in the Wall. They have the most beautiful bar top that I have ever seen and the staff is really friendly.
Beer and food!. Amazing beer selection at reasonable prices a very interesting and tasty (though somewhat limited) menu. Place is tiny but it sort of adds to the charm.
Best night out in the Junction. We began going to the Hole in the Wall for the great beer selection about a year ago, as the menu was limited (but always very good). Now, the kitchen produces some of the best food you’ll find anywhere. The spicy calamari is amazing….hope they never take that off the menu. Our new favourite is the pork belly pancakes. Most of the dishes are perfect for sharing. Service is extremely friendly. Word is spreading, because some nights it’s hard to get a table.
Amazing food, great beer, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Will be back no doubt.
