Fantastic! The service was phenomenal even as busy as they were, great prices for drinks and food, the cappuccinos were amazing! I would say the only reason to not give 5 star was the food (although good) wasn’t quite 5 star. Will definitely be back!
Used to come here years ago, decided to drop 8n for dinner. Initially service was slow, but they were busy, even at 9pm. The wine list for for glasses of red needs to be improved, beer selection gives you a lot of good options. Ordered baked ravioli which was absolutely amazing. Peppers gave it a slight kick of flavour and the tomato sauce is perfectly cooked. We ordered the beef which was perfectly seasoned. Also ordered a Margherita pizza, love the deep dish style of crust. Portion sizes are generous and I thought reasonable, with some leftovers. My complaint is with the bathrooms which were not stocked and really disgusting. I have seen Walmart bathrooms nicer. Someone in management should be checking in every hour. This is not acceptable for a restaurant. Would recommend, just bring hand sanitizer.
I rarely eat pizza because it often sits heavily in my stomach, though I do love the taste. But tonight I shared a slice just on a whim with my husband on this beautiful summer evening, while we were walking in the Junction. It was amazing: this pizza is nothing like I have ever tasted, it is so beyond better than the typical pizza. Subtle flavour, a little bit light, thin crust, absolutely delicious. I could have eaten three times as much. Wonderful!
I have been going to Vesuvio for a few years now, it used to be good food at great value. However, the prices have raised about $2 per meal (including on takeout) and the once friendly welcome service has become absolutely terrible it disgusts me how rude they are. On two occasions I have sat and waited 30 mins to even get a waiter to take my drink order. I started using takeout to avoid this issue but was astounded how rude they were on the phone. I will not be going back until they hire some new staff.
Pizza was horrendous. Dough was cardboard. Tasted like pizza from pizza day in elementary school. Would never order again. Do not recommend.
I’m from an Italian community, so any expectations I have for an Italian restaurant are already pretty high. This place met my expectations well.The interior was beautiful and I kept feeling like I was in a place where I should be spending more money to eat. The server were very nice as well, which is what I expect from any restaurant.I had the gnocchi with a side of bocchini. It’s hard to find a place that makes good gnocchi, but this place made it to perfection. I suggest anyone who hasn’t tried gnocchi to try it from Vesuvio. The bocchini was a little salty for my taste, but it was still good.Would recommend
Just meh.. Stick to pizza if you go, the pasta is not good. Pizza is good, but in the words of Jim Carrey, I’ve had better 🙂
