The price and food here is what a typical Chinese restaurant has to offer. It’s still fast and orders are usually accurate any time of day. Nice ambiance and pretty clean for a Chinese restaurant too. Food is good with some of their specialty dishes thrown in with the typical Chinese noodles or congee or stir-fry. We ordered the lobster in fried noodles and it was worth the price. I would recommend it if you want something other than the regular chow mein. The staff here makes the review downhill. They seem mad all the time and always have a cold respond to patrons. This can be from ordering your food until you ask for the bill. Come for the food, don’t expect a hug.
Located in the Promenade mall next to T&T supermarket. Its always a good idea to get some food before heading to do grocery; to prevent doing a ton of impulse buys. The food here was pretty decent, nothing particularly outstanding but well executed and for a reasonable price. We had the duck congee, beef noodles and black bean chicken chicken. I liked the black bean the most as it had a good amount of black beans and melded nicely with chicken and veggies. Congee is not really my cup of tea, too bland for me but had to try since its the restaurants bread and butter.
Service was short of adequate. Won’t come back.
First and definitely last visit. Food is just ok, no different from other chinese restaurant..i think the management, should engage and provide their staff with more seminars/ team building on how to perform well on how to interact with their customers in terms of courtesy and being polite…i don’t think its not too much to ask as a FIRST time customer or even if you are a regular guest, if u want to move in a different table because we’re not comfortable to the original spot where they put us. (as far as i can remember my aunt NICELY ask one of the staff to transfer us) I can tell from their facial reactions that they’re not thrilled about that idea. In short, they managed to transfer us to different table with a sour face and banging all those little bowls and cups in front of our face. While this staff guy busy setting up the new table with all the banging he noticed me putting my coat on chair and out of nowhere he just blurted out on me with high tone that to wait because they’re not ready yet! I told him i wasn’t going to sit down i’m just going to put my coat on the chair.it was very RUDE of him to do that, he could just asked me nicely and in a well mannered way to wait til they’re finished setting it up. most of the crew seldom smile it should be a friendly and welcoming place for it is a family restaurant right? So, it wasn’t just the food sometimes we customers care about when we dine, the ambiance, the people are also part of the package we also look for…now, tell me how will i ever recommend this place to my friends that its a nice place to go to???Its just so sad, that our first visit wasn’t that great as we expect it to be.
Never let you down.. Good portion, food and services. Good for casual days.
Always good food. Hands down best place for good food and great prices. Just sometimes service can be a little slow at times. But overall great place to try a lot of dishes among family/friends for a good price.
Easily some of the city’s best Asian food. Of course the Congee’s fantastic, but don’t ignore the rest of the menu or you’ll miss some hidden treasures! Large portions for the price.
