2018/07/09We had been to Shater Abbas one time before for lunch, and we decided to visit again, this time for dinner. It is a medium-sized restaurant, with seating for 40+. It was about half full while we were there. SWMBO chose the Joojeh Kebab (breast), which came with one large skewer of grilled chicken. The chicken was nice and tender, and pleasantly seasoned. It was served beside a large bed of basmati rice and a roasted tomato. I started my meal with the Shirazi Salad. Dice cucumber, tomato and red onion, soaking in a lemon vinegar dressing. Nice and fresh and very lemony. Instead of a main course, I selected Kashke Bademjan from the appetizer menu. I really like the seasoned, roasted eggplant. Some diced walnuts and crispy fried onions provided a bit of crunch to balance the soft eggplant. The mint sauce added a small zing to the flavours. Service was was polite. It did take longer for SWMBOs dish to arrive than we thought it should. Kashhe Bademjan (Eggplant)
