Dont understand the rating. When I want to go take my family out somewhere nice to sit down and eat the Mill has been the spot everyone agrees to go to. Though we probably go 2 times a year we have had a great time on each occasion. The food is great and plenty and the large windows and old-fashion feel is fantastic. Everyone In my family highly enjoys their fish n chips. If your wondering about the place you should just try it out. Ive been around this area for a while and when I do go to the Mills its never been disappointing.
Sunday Brunch. Built in 1878 as a mill and transformed to a picturesque Inn and Dining hall in 2000. Serving up a wonderful Sunday brunch for $13.99.The brunch selection is not huge but is quite good. Excellent pickerel, chicken, lasagna along with the traditional; scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and country home fries, French toast, pancakes and waffles, salad and desert bar. Food was fresh and the view over the countryside enchanting. It was quite busy the day we went and the lineup moved quite quickly.I have no trouble in recommending this place as an excellent stop in good reasonable dining. I will have to make a point of going back for a regular meal other than a brunch.
AMAZING!. I have had nothing but great experiences here! I have gone for dinner 2 times and brunch once plus I had my wedding here! Every time the food was excellent (the fish and chips are the best I have ever had!) the only negative thing I can say is the place moves a bit slow, but honestly it wasn’t a big deal. My wedding was fantastic! The owner and chef were both so helpful and did anything they could to make our day the best! We had a pretty tight budget, but they were able to accommodating it and still make a beautiful event! We and our guests booked all the rooms in the hotel and found the beds extremely comfortable, loved the personal keurig machines in each room, and the place has so much charm! My husband and I also took photos on the grounds and man that place is gorgeous! Two of my bridesmaids were vegan and one was even gluten free but they were so accommodating even making special meals for breakfast and lunch as well as serving LOTS of extra veggies at the wedding! I don’t know what happened to people who gave bad reviews, but after dealing with the owner and chef I have come to realize they are some of the sweetest, down to earth, accommodating people I have met.
My wife and I have eaten at the Mill Tales Inn a couple of times now since we moved to the area in the summer. Each time the food was great and the service was as well. The Erie perch dinner is wonderful. Prices are reasonable as well.
NIGHTMARE!!!!!!. Worst restaurant experience EVER, the manager which would not disclose her name was beyond OFFENSIVE and should not be in the customer service industry. When I tried to give her feedback on our experience she walked away. I mentioned that normally you would try to get the customers feedback so that you can improve on the customer experience in the future. I was then told that I was trying to make a scene and to leave. I have never been treated so poorly to say the least and can not believe that this restaurant is still open. I had read reviews prior to going to Mill Tales Inn, I assumed it was just one or two bad experiences; however I now completely understand where all of these dreadful customer reviews came from. I could go on about what started the customer experience nightmare but at this point am more taken back by the outcome of our feedback. The worst part is, it was my mother in-laws birthday and this is how we finished her birthday dinner, a night to remember none the less. I would strongly suggest NEVER going to the Mill Tales Inn unless you are looking to be insulted and very disappointed.
