KOSHER! This is by far my favorite restaraunts in toronto. I lived in israel for a year and never did I have as good shawarma as they serve here. It is perfect for a quick takeout lunch, a romantic dinner date (there is sometime live middle eastern music at diner), a nice sit down diner with the family, and even a late shakshuka breakfast. The service is amazing and is very warm and inviting. The menue is diverse and unique. It is also reasonably priced. This restaurant is a must try.By day this is a great place to grab a quick lunch. The patio is a great place to enjoy a delightful Turkish coffee. by night the ambiance of the place completely shifts. With the live authentic middle eastern music the place gets a wonderful romantic feel which is perfect for casual dinner dates. I eat hear every time I’m in toronto and it’s usually the first thing I do when I get there. The food is literally addictive. I eat more and more of it every time I go. The best dishes are the sabich, shawarma, falafel, shakshuka, and the French fries are incredible (if you are getting a laffa make sure to ask them for the fries inside the sandwich). the laffa bread is made completely fresh meaning when they serve it, it’s still warm from the wood oven. Hands down best place in toronto.
