Wine and cheese. You cannot go wrong with that. If you love charcuterie, this is a must try. They have a great list of different meats and different cheeses and you can choose which ones you want to try on your platter. Their other appetizers looked very good, though, I didn’t try them, I stuck with the platters. They have an extensive wine list from different countries and the prices are very reasonable! Must try!!

I really like this place. The owners are super friendly and knowledgeable about their wines. What a civilized thing to do to gather in a place to have a glass of wine or two with a couple a snacks. The snacks are delicious. I’ve had the fennel celery salad which I highly recommend, the steak tartare is also great as are the charcuterie and cheese dishes. Intimate and accessible.Enjoy.

Impressive, contemporary collection of wine and food. There is no English word to approximate the quality of these archives: recherches. To attempt to describe the wine list would be presumptuous on my part, except to say that it is the product of a knowledgeable sommelier. Recherche, genuinely warm thanks to generous use of wood in interior design and welcoming, Archive is everything you can ask for if you enjoy small plates, intimate conversations, and tasting wine. I enjoyed being able to select 3oz glasses of wine and various options of meats and cheeses, all at very reasonable prices. Charcuterie and cheese selections reminded me of good, relaxing times spent in quiet, unassuming spots in Montral, Barcelona or Rome. Like any good repository, Archive is the type of place you return to time-and-time again to discover what gems you know you have missed on previous visits. That’s how I felt when leaving after my first visit. Highly recommended for friendly, exacting service, beautiful plating (dessert looked and tasted harmonious) and, (a va de soi), a splendid selection of wines (recherchs).

Perfect Neighourhood Stop. I’m always looking for great neighbourhood spots to linger and Archive provided the perfect opportunity last night. My partner and I love to walk in the neighbourhood and we decided to stop in at Archive for a break. After two fabulous glasses of wine and three pinches (3 orders for $13) we felt very revived. Very much enjoyed the ambience and chance to chat with one of the owners. I’ll be back for a bigger tasting of both wine and food. They seem to have a lot of options to explore!!
