The steak just melted in your mouth, we enjoyed our anniversary dinner tremendously, and our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. Recommend place.

Situated in the Renaissance hotel adjacent to the Rogers centre, this up-scale, elegantly decorated restaurant offers a birds eye view of the playing arena. No game was on while I was there, but I guess that on game days, a table can be hard to find. The food they offer is truly high class. The Angus beef burger I ordered with bacon and cheese was easily the best burger that I ever had as well as being the priciest. Yes this is an expensive place, but considering the special setting and the quality they offer, I feel that the prices are justified. The service also is very efficient.Overall, highly recommended for special occasions.

Craig makes an awesome Ceasar. Best I’ve had. Gotta have one!

I don’t watch football. NFL or CFL. To be honest, I don’t even know the rules of the game. But somehow I found myself at Arriba Restaurant two Fridays ago, watching a CFL game between the Toronto Argonauts and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers with my friend Audrey, who also does not know anything about football. I know, right? What the heck? Well here’s the low down. Audrey bought a groupon for Arriba and was supposed to go with a friend of hers that Friday night for dinner, but her friend suddenly couldn’t make it so she asked me if I wanted to go with her. And I said sure, why not? Who cares if I don’t know anything about football? I certainly don’t. And there will be food! Which was a VERY IMPORTANT MOTIVATION.Arriba is located within the Renaissance Hotel. The restaurant and lounge has an incredible view into the Rogers Centre.Audrey and I shared: Chicken Quesadilla – Roasted chicken, black beans, cheddar & mozzarella cheese, caramelized onions.Audrey’s main: Speck Wrapped Chicken Supreme – Triple smoked bacon, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, market vegetables, sage jus.My main: Ontario White Fish Fillet – Gremolata crust, tarragon brown butter gnocchi, market vegetables, grapefruit port reduction.Even though Audrey and I had no idea what was going on most of the time with the game (or 100% of the time) it was still pretty cool dining at Arriba, all high and mighty, watching the game below. The food was alright, nothing spectacular…a bit pricey for what it is but I didn’t expect anything different. After all when you are there, you are most likely paying for the amazing view rather than the food. That’s my point of view, anyway. foodjunkiechronicles.net

Food and Service is great. LIKE: The food is superb!Try ordering the white fish and the mussels..Dislike: The whole restaurant looks like a normal canteen. It needs new interior design and decors..
