This restaurant was really surprising! Service was absolutely excellent. The food was yummy and the intimate ambiance was perfect for a date night. It wasn’t the most professional and for a restaurant of this caliber, their waitstaff should be more on point.
Second time here. I love everything: so far 6/6 dishes were great. Drinks are great and dessert is great. I don’t understand people leaving bad reviews, this restaurant is way better and original than your usual expensive pretentious restaurants.
This restaurant really surprised me! I loved most of the dishes that I tried and I tried many of them. The drinks were awesome! Very unique and perfectly balanced. Service was absolutely excellent as well. My only complaint was that the aged steak tasted like meat that was just about to go bad. My friend didn’t notice it, so maybe it’s just me. What really stood out to me was the pine infused dish. Not just for the unique and impressive presentation, but the fact that they managed to do it without it tasting like a pine scented candle. I highly recommend this restaurant. Also, I didn’t love their dessert, but I really appreciated that they used sea buckthorn. cookingwithalison.com
Wonderful dining experience! Service, excellent! Ambience, excellent! Food, outstanding! Not too big a place so definitely make reservations.
Was on a dinner date here with my husband for our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere is intimate and we enjoyed almost every dish we ordered. My favorites were the mussels and the pigeon pie. The mussel dish really reminded us of a campfire, which has additional meaning since we like to go camping. The bread and butter order was well worth the additional cost. First you need bread to sop up all the wonderful broth in the mussel dish. More to the point, the butter they serve was sooo delicious! The pigeon pie was another highlight of the night. The pie crust was crumbly without being oily or overly buttery and pigeon was cooked to perfection. The food was delicious and the intimate ambience was perfect for a date night. I took off 0.5 for the service… it wasn’t the most professional and for a restaurant of this caliber, their waitstaff should be more on point.
All we taste is butter Venison tartare wasn’t fresh either, the only good thing we tried was the smoked mussels, seriously overrated, sorry fashionecstasy.com
Really good meal at incredible value. I would go back. Tonight’s impromptu visit saw only two highlights out of seven courses… The in-house cured meat with shaved lard and blueberries, and the sweetbreads. Too much of a gap down on the rest of the dishes. Not a great desert – a bit dry. Great atmosphere for a lively dinner with friends. Very friendly service, and a very positive experience.
