Visited the one in downtown. Loved the service and the menu. The ingredients seemed really fresh. We had the barbecue chicken and potatoes with the Mexican bean rice. The meal quantity was huge but the chicken as well as the rice were good. I did not like the potatoes much, most of which we left. Hence the rating is an average one. myprizedpossession.blogspot.com
The chicken is great, and you can get get away with spending $10 or less for a very filling meal. I really liked the spicy cajun chicken, but got the bourbon chicken when I was here. The bourbon chicken has a very sweet, sticky sauce to it that might not be for everyone, but it’s quite good. I also had potatoes and fried rice – potatoes were dry, and the fried rice lacked any sort of flavour. Overall, it’s not amazing, but it’s not too shabby for the price you pay for food court quality.
I liked their combo options. And it has wide range of veg and meet options. Must try the Cajun spice dishes and shrimp.Service is quite fast as food is already ready. They just need to be served on bowl.As its a counter on food court so nothing much to tell about ambiance.Approx bill for two CAD 20-30.
A very good choice. This Bourbon St Grill is located in the Urban Eatery in the Eaton Centre. I visited for a late lunch. They dish up combinations of rice or pasta, veggies, and various meat choices. I got a combo 1 which includes one meat item for which I chose the Bourbon Chicken. The food was very good, the meat had a nice sweet sauce, the broccoli was properly cooked, and even the pasta noodles were quite good. It was a good plate of food, that and a can of diet coke was just under 10 dollars. Seemed like a good deal to me. It is an order at the counter kind of place. There was a short line but it moved quickly enough and I had food in hand in just a few minutes. The people were efficient and pleasant. There is a big common seating area that was also busy.
