The fried rice was served quite quickly, but then there was a bit of wait for the xiao long bao, noodle soup and potsickers, in that order. The price is typical for the quantity of food and we took home 1/2 the fried rice. However, there was nothing special for us to return anytime soon.

I did a dine-in eat at this restaurant..was my first time eating here. I must say although there was nothing wrong with the staff, the food was disappointing. Most of what we ordered wasn’t fully cooked properly and was room temperature. I wish we didn’t order as much because I felt ripped off afterwards.

Came for Sunday brunch. Pro- shrimp and pork dumpling was juicy (A1) and was flavourful. – crab meat xiao long bao (B3) was also juicy and I love the little pieces of crab inside. – some say it’s tacky, but I liked the decor. Although the place could use some deep spring cleaning/ dusting. Con- MSG. I’m slightly allergic and had a headache towards the end of the meal. – service. I’m used to meh services at Chinese restaurants, but this place service is non existent. Had to go to cashier to get spoons, and was given a used napkin.- pan fried green onion pancake was a tad on the thicker side. Overall we spent $30 for 2 ppl. travellingsushi.com

This place holds true to its name- it’s dumplings are delicious! All the other foods are pretty standard (hot and sour soup was terrible). Food portions are really large (can serve at least 4 people). The waitress failed to tell us that (there was only two of us) so be warned! I would definitely go back just to try the dumplings again.

Northern style Chinese Restaurant that offers up more than just dumplings and northern style dim sum. The place itself is located in the Chinese plaza hiding around the Midland/Finch area. The restaurant is rather clean and service is real quick actually. We ordered Jellyfish salad, pan fried dumplings, smoked duck, and the special, which was like a vermicelli soup with baby bok choy and housemade fish meatballs. The jellyfish salad was the first dish, and unfortunately, the worst. The dish itself was completely bland with no salt, spice, or even some sesame oil. Just a load of garlic. The pan fried dumplings were great. The skin was pan seared nicely while the dumpling was filled with large amounts of meat. The smoked duck was done very nicely. We ordered a half portion and there was so much duck. Definitely felt more like more than just a half. The skin was crisp as I believe the duck was lightly fried as well. The Special that they had was a clear broth soup filled with baby bok choy, clear vermicelli, and home made fish meatballs. The meatballs were very tender and made fresh where you can see that it might have been the same filling they use for the dumplings.Overall, the restaurant was very good. Other than the jellyfish, I was a fan of all the other dishes. The smoked duck was my favorite and definitely will be something I’d continue to order. The service was quick and friendly enough. Worth a stop over even though there are so many restaurants around. cheatdayeveryday.com

Return visit. We come to this place regularly and enjoy the crab filled xiao long bao. The cold appetizer is a personal fav: julienne cucumbers, vermicelli sheets, peanut butter, garlic and soy/vinegar sauce. Just awesome. The ambience and service is subpar but the food is worth the price. 85%
