Right by where I live, and this is a bit of a generalization, but the restaurants around this area are really only so so. One day I had a craving for dumplings, but I was way too lazy or it was just too cold to trek all the way to china town for decent dumplings dont remember the exact reason, but ended up eating here. Theres nothing fancy about this place, dumplings are good, and its relatively cheap. I ordered a noodle also that day, and it was only okay so definitely will be going back for the dumplings due to its proximity.

Hidden gem We were still hungry from the inadequacy of a McDonald burger, so we were in the lookout for another place to eat. Nearly missed this place as we were walking south on yonge. So we came in and tried it out. The place reminds me of small mom and pop restaurants in China. The tables and chairs looks like a throwback to the 80s. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. It’s definitely no four star hotel. We ordered the pork and cabbage dumplings. The wrapping is really good; light and chewy. The filling is seasoned right. Overall really good. Will probably order another round!

yes the food tastes good because it’s made by people who know what they are doing i have been in their kitchen, this is what i have seen:- they cook unwashed vegetables- they recycle uneaten lamb skewers from customers who leave on plate- their kitchen is filthy (except the day before the food inspectors come)

Love it! It’s a weekly regular for us. I would highly suggest the tofu with spicy salt as well as all the dumplings!

Great dumplings!. My husband and I ate here tonight and were delighted!! We got pan fried pork and cabbage pan fried dumplings along with mixed veggie steamed (boiled) dumplings. Both were delicious and just what we were looking for. What caught our eye and made us choose this place was the lady in the street view window making the dumplings. Mmmm! Fresh and delish!

Dumplings….yum!. Finally was able to try Dumpling Queen..The place is a hole in the wall that offers a pretty extensive variety of home made dumplings either prepared pan fried or boiled, plus additional Chinese fare.Tried a variety of both boiled and pan fried….and they were delicious!!!. The options are either 15 boiled or 12 pan fried per order with an option to mix the flavors up to try most of them. So a few orders can easily be shared among friends. The mixed vegetables dish was also tasty…but super saturated with oil making them less than a healthy choice. Will definitely go back to get my fix of dumplings..but will likely skip on the other dishes as I did not feel that they were memorable. Recommend to give it a try.

Great. This place is the hole-in-the-wall dumpling place for those who crave dumplings in the area. I live nearby and have been struggling to to find an authentic dumpling place in the city (don’t particularly like the places in Chinatown, and Scarborough/Markham/Richmond Hill are far for me to travel on a consistent basis). There’s nothing fancy about the place, just good fresh dumplings served by a really nice family. Order the dumplings (pork, or pork with shrimp), plus the pan-fried dumplings. The fried green beans were good too.
