I enjoyed the classic beef soup at this authentic Chinese eatery. The small portion size was more than enough to fill me up, the noodles were fresh made right on the spot and very tasty. You can choose different types of noodles for your soup. The broth also had a distinct cilantro taste which I quite enjoyed. The menu overall is small and to the point so you’re not overwhelmed with options. The quality of the meat could have been better as it was tough and chewy, which was disappointing considering the quality of the rest of the ingredients.
One of the best shops for Lanzhou beef noodles in the downtown area. The restaurant is extremely packed most of the time, so it will take a while to go inside. The noodles are done really well and the broth is rich. If you prefer it to be spicy, I would recommend adding chili oil.
