I’m on a frenzy on writing reviews on fast food eateries these days and would like to share this gem I found resently! Located in Chartwell mall is Hong Kong style tea and fast food. They have all your favorite HK delights . There are specials from baked spaghetti to rice dishes to classic fried wings and other yummy snacks. Hence, there is bound to be something for everyone!I landed on the grilled chicken steak with black pepper sauce. The special also includes toast and double fried eggs. The Chicken steak was juicy and crispy. I loved how the pepper sauce flows over the fried eggs, yummy! The toast was perfect in my opinion. Why, you may ask? It’s because the crusts were cut off! It was beautiful because I absolutely hate eating crust! My meal also came with a hot hk milk tea which was steamy hot and adorably smooth! I was pretty satisfied with my meal. The next time I drop by Hong Kong Style tea fast food I will be definitely trying some more old school hk delights!
Hong Kong Style Tea & Fast Food serves HK style tea and fast food and more.Inside Chartwell Shopping Centre, one of the most competitive food court in the area where every single stall offers tax includes deal.Afternoon Tea Special from 2pm-5pm starts at $2.75 tax in. Pretty good value if you just want a light snack or for a late lunch.Beef Brisket Rice Noodle Soup ($5 tax in) with a Hong Kong Milk Tea was A-OK. Love how it was served in a huge big bowl not one of those shallow Styrofoam bowl which is no no for hot noodle soup! The portion is huge. Beef was a little fatty but really tender. I also have their Beef Rice Noodle ($6) and needless to say I really enjoyed the hot off the wok taste and portion size is enough for 2 people to share!
