It started with a free sample of soup, and then we were hooked! We’ve been back several times and it never disappoints. Homemade hot sauce is a must try! Very flavorful food and always greeted with a friendly smile. We will be regular customers.

Great food, while i was in Toronto for vacation i must say i was regular stamp customer. I have eaten east African food before but there is something about Kal&Mooy. I must say it is hard to recommend just one dish, try new dish everyday as i have done! i have few left before i return back to Sweden 🙂

Super good!. The first time I saw Kal and Mooy was at High Park when they had their good truck parked there. I was super excited because there are not of food trucks in Toronto. I absolutely love their samosas and I can eat like 20 of them! I never thought I would see them again but today I was walking around Downtown Toronto! We were super excited! Super nice owner! I ordered 2 veggie samosas and 2 beef samosa for $7! Even though he mistakenly gave us 4 veggie samosas insteaf he was nice enough to give us fresh 2 new beef ones. Super nice guy and his daughter and super sweet as well. Definitely spread the word on this awesome food truck!

Delicious and Different. I tried Kal and Mooy’s wonderful offerings for the first time last week, through Just-eat.ca. It won’t be the last time and I hope they do well in their permanent location. The samosas were fabulous! The pastry was crisp and flaky, and they were stuffed full of lean beef or chicken. The sauce (in this case the sweet one, I think) was fabulous- I could sit and eat it with a spoon ! I had the rice, vegetables and goat and loved that too. The goat meat was a generous portion, tender and lean. This is food that I have never found anywhere in Toronto, and I will be eating it again and again- there is a whole menu to get through!

Tried their new permanent (?) downtown location on Queen. For $4 I got two giant, full, fresh samosas and two of their delicious homemade sauces. Not too fried, totally filling. So worth it. I think they’ve moved into the food mart on Queen & John permanently and I’ll be back for lunch!
