  For a simple Russian inspired restaurant with no thrills or extras, a trip to Moldova restaurant might do the trick. It helps to have some awareness of the specialties coming from that part of the world as most customers happen to be. This explains the location that is actually fairly accessible even by public transit: near Dufferin/Steeles intersection.The good thing is that the menu has basic descriptions in parentheses. You can enjoy cabbage rolls, kebabs, blintzes and a variety of fish/meat steaks. It’s again a small place with limited personnel so you should try to go on a quiet night to avoid delays and to enjoy quiet conversation.You need to know what you can digest. Even an innocent serving of meat blintzes with a bit of vodka can stay in your stomach until the next morning 🙂

  Takes me back home. The food here is excellent. Every time I eat here I’m transported back to when I was a kid growing up and enjoying the homemade food of my youth. The service is great and the prices for all the dishes is reasonable. The menu has an excellent selection (something for everyone)I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back soon.5 stars in my book!!
