The service of this restaurant is very bad. We have 8 people ordered 2 set of dinner for 4 menu. We try to have the steak done in medium in one set & medium rare for the other. The owner reject our request & told us that no matter how many we order, they will cook the steak only in one style per table!!!All 8 of us will not come back nor refer this restaurant to any of our friend.
Not my kind of place. A friend told us this place has good value for lunch but charge double for the same food at dinner time. At average $6.99 to $7.99 including soup, main course and a drink, it’s a bargain for a QUICK lunch. Yes, it’s quick. They rush the food to you and try to take the empty and half empty plates away as soon as they can to rush you out the door. The lunch menu stated it allows 1 hour max.I had the prok belly rice. It’s ok if you just want to fill yourself up. Also tried some of the pork chop spaghetti. The pork chop were dry but covered with sauce (HK style) and the spaghetti were completely dry and too soft, again HK style. The bread was warm but hard. Tasted like a reheated loaf of bread from the microwave. The coffee and tea mix was below average even to HK standard. This is really a Hong Kong style western restaurant. It is not a true western style restaurant. Will not go back if I have a choice. I went only because other friends wanted to go.
Below average value. Offering various pasta, steak, meat, seafood and rice dishes, this swankier Chinese-run Western cuisine restaurant serves lunch and dinner table d’hte specials and la carte items. Bread is warm and accompanied by both butter and an olive oil/vinegar mix. The quality of their steak unfortunately did not justify the price charged. While they have an upscale interior atmosphere and good service, another of their weaknesses is a slow kitchen that keeps everyone waiting for food. That in turn slows down the turnover time for tables, resulting in a line up to be seated.
