Ramen is like pizza: it can range so much in quality that when you come across a place that does it decently, it’s noteworthy. I’ve been to Ryoji twice and was always pleasantly surprised by the subtlety of their dishes. A subtlety that can only come from care in preparations and recipes.
Went back to Ryoji yesterday and the mixed sashimi dinner was much smaller than previous (much smaller than the previous picture I posted), but unfortunately for the same price $25. Didn’t feel fully satisfied. A couple other friends ordered the ramen and although good, small portion sizes – that after dinner we were all still hungry.
