Im extremely surprised that this sake bar got this high rating… just visit this sake bar a minute ago and I have an urge to give comments to this place.Service is fine, very friendly, but the quality of all the dishes that we ordered… rediculously horrible!Toro, paying $27 for what they so-called Toro tuna belly, lots of thick heavy tendon, texture of the meat is even more worse than a regular tuna piece… it is either not the tuna belly, or they just imported some very low quality toro and selling it as High quality pricing…Skewers surprised me that every single skewers are cold to serve… im not sure if thats their style of skewers or not, but i just dont like the way they put tons of sauces coating the cold meat…I would only give credits to their servers, but other than that, if you will be looking for a decent sake bar with good quality food, not this place.
Easily the best izakaya in Toronto. Sushi is super fresh. Big pieces. All tapas style foods are delicious. Ordered about 6 plates and the chef sent over 3-4 on the house. Great atmosphere. Waitresses are very very friendly. I’ll be back a hundred times.
Great experience at this izakaya, very fun atmosphere, great service and delicious food. Our favorites were grilled squid, spicy tuna roll and tako wasabi – all very flavorful and nice presentation. We would probably skip the tokotsu ramen next time (huge portion, but lacked depth, couldnt finish) and the Chicken Karaage (good but a bit dry). The atmosphere while loud (expected…) is also more private than some of the isakayas in town since the seating is more private. Very nicely decorated. Service is super friendly and very attentive, they have really good teamwork. Came with my 3yr and they were very accomodating.Will for sure be back!
