We had gone out to try out authentic Chinese at Markham but were utterly disappointed. Above all while settling the bill the lady at cash insisted on 10% of the bill as tip. I kept telling her that tipping is only if I like the food. Finally had to budge and pay the tip in spite of not liking the food.
All in all a pretty decent place! Some of their notable items are the Pan-Fried Dumplings, Noodle Soup with Savoury Stewed Beef, and Shanghai-Style Noodle Soup. The stewed beef was super tender and there was just enough flavour in the soup without being too spicy. And the white broth for the Shanghai noodles was delicious! So fragrant and flavourful, packed with warm-your-soul goodness. My fam downed every last drop mmm mmm good! The only disappointment was that they don’t serve red bean egg puffs here, which is my fave Shanghai dessert and something I always order.

This place is pretty good for its dumplings. They’re tight in terms of space but also pretty busy during peak hours. Been there several times and I haven’t had issues at all since day one. Service is ok, don’t expect top notch service!

Not what I expected.. This place was not what expected. I was expecting the standard Dim sum fair but I got a Taiwanese food. The food is ok. The pork & leek dumpling has more leek and less pork.
