Tung Tung Dan Quen King is my favourite place for HK bubble waffles! The soft mini eggs are delightful! I love how the batter is made here! Warm fluffy and delicious my go to place for these little bubble waffles!!
NOT RECOMMENDED!The only reason they have a 1 star from me is because I have no choice to leave this blank before writing my review.Unfortunately, their eggrolls and egg puffs quality have decreased since I last remembered it. The eggrolls are burnt, and not consistent. The batter are not even fully cooked through for the egg puffs, and it is actually separated from the inner and outer layer – basically, you could probably make it better at home.A word of advice, don’t waste your money for the burnt eggrolls they put in the middle and egg puffs here – and especially, the lady with the long hair is rude and unfriendly!
Only go for the fresh Chinese egg rolls (dan guen). This location makes them the best. The gan guen is a subtly sweet, light, and crispy roll. These are the best and are unlike any of the Chinese egg rolls that you buy in tin cans. These make great souvenirs for friends and family, because you wont find these anywhere else. They come in round shaped, hollow, plain flavour or at flat and filled with coconut and sesame. We prefer the hollow plain ones. But you should be warned that 1. the service is awful, and 2. in the summer months, they get orders for cases of these things so you might not even be able to buy it if you want. cookingwithalison.com
Mini egg!. The smell of mini eggs is worth the detour to Market Village. They are quite delicious too.
