I purchased a pie from this bakery and I found 4 pieces of hair baked in to the pie. I would not recommend this place regardless of the fact, the pie was mediocre and I would rate it a 4/10. I would not recommend this place, for the price and the taste it isn’t it worth it. Save the money and head to the Subway down the street.
Great place. Phenomenal toasted Western sandwiches.
Excellent home made sandwiches with delicious subtle spices with fresh cooked meats and ingredients. Had butternut squash soup which was also delicious and not over salted. Come here for lunch! Friendly staff, dining room and fantastic home made baked goods
Know their ingredients!. Very appreciative that the staff know what goes into their baked goods! So many people just shrug and say they don’t know. I have a soy allergy and soy is a common ingredient in vegetable shortening so tons of pastries have it. I enjoyed a wonderful buttertart!
They have excellent food, quality coffee. If you show up first thing in the morning , or if you’re rushing to work or you are spending $24 on butter tarts for your staff, you’re in for grief. The staff there will roll their eyes, judge you, see you at the door at 8am Sunday (opening time as per posted sign) and ignore you. Then to top it off carry on long conversations with patrons for 10 minutes plus while letting you stand there holding multiple items. By the way, that was a baker chatting up a young lady while the cashier looked at me and walked away. If they weren’t the only place of its kind in the area they would be bankrupt. I NEVER treat my customers that way, and I make it a habit to serve them asap as they have work to go to. Ponderous, just ponderous and disappointing.
Lovely little place. This is a cute little building on Hwy 47. I stopped for a cup of coffee while driving to Uxbridge. It was very cosy sitting upstairs and they had so many freshly baked pastries for you to choose from. I took home the chicken pot pie but found it a bit dry, but I would definitely go back for the pastries.
Love this place!!! Stopped in to grap a bite to eat on my way home. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed for the day but the young lady at the front counter was more than happy to heat me up a meat pie. Delicious! Tons of chicken inside, and very moist. She even had fresh coffee to serve minutes before closing time. This place is quite the gem! Excellent customer service and perfect food. Can’t wait to come back!
