I was a regular of this location when it operated under a different name. What once was a decent pub became a place with poor service and mediocre food. Shortly thereafter, the pub closed. Upon opening as Wixan’s Bridge, we decided to give the place another try. We weren’t overly impressed with the food or service and noticed a few of the old guard. Was it the same people with a new name; maybe. In recent weeks we have again attended at this restaurant and have seen improvements in both the service and food. The wings were big and tasty, the curry dishes quite good for a non-Indian restaurant. Hopefully there have been some changes since this restaurant reopened and things will continue to improve. Unfortunately, there aren’t too many options for decent food in Uxbridge unless you want to frequent one of the two overly priced places in town. A local pub with a good selection of dishes and decent prices is a welcome addition.
