Had breakfast here this morning, very good prices and service. Food was good ,eggs and bacon cooked perfectly, next time I would ask for onions in the homefries for more flavor. Will definitely be back.
Went for Breakfast this morning. Got their bacon and eggs. Eggs were cooked as specified but pretty oily. Bacon was good quality and cooked perfectly. Coffee was weak. Decor is very outdated complete with wood paneling.Overall I certainly wouldn’t bother to go iut of my way, but it was an adequate breakfast.
Being open in the early hours of the morning is one of the few things going for this dump. The service without a smile is the pits. You’ll walk in, and whoever’s taking orders at the time will ask you what you want, and each time you’ll have to ask to see the menu (unless you memorized it the first time you managed to get a copy.) If you order breakfast that comes with coffee, you’ll wait a polite amount of time but you’ll still have to ask for it or it’ll never come. Everything they do for you seems like an inconvenience. You have to ask for the most basic items, like menu and coffee, or ketchup (for crying out loud), they offer you nothing. The place is usually abandoned. (Red flag!)The food is mediocre. If you want a great meal with friendly service and interactive staff, head east for a few blocks to Bobby’s Table, 225 Montreal Road.
Great family restaurant. I have been going here since before I was born. The decor is horribly outdated and worn to hell but the atmosphere is friendly and the food is great. If you’re looking for beautiful decor or gourmet food – go somewhere else. If you’re looking for cozy and welcoming with home cooked food this is THE place. The breakfast is amazing and their homemade soups are awesome.
