Horrible customer service. NEVER ordering from here again. Waited over an hour for food that did not come. Restaurant called and said driver had been and I asked why had they not called upon arrival like I asked as I had said my buzzer to my apt is not working. Their response driver was not there so they did not know. Was told the driver was on their way. Went down stairs waited 15 min and then called the restaurant back and was told my order was not coming as the driver was no longer in my area. Was instructed to cancel my order which I did. 1/2 an hr later driver shows up asking if I want my order still. Like really, sorry no I ordered pizza. I will never order from here again.
Meh… They had the nerve to go ahead and send us the crispy spicy beef cooked to a burnt crisp. It was so overdone the meat itself snapped in half with a fork. Who doesn’t catch that when you pack it up, let alone think it’s ok to send out anyways? It’s like they forgot it in the fryer or something. Never ordering from here again it was a waste of my money.
Awful. Even by bad Chinese food standards the food was terrible. I ordered the lemon chicken and the chicken was raw. I did eat the spring roll, but it was really tasteless. Will not be ordering from here again.
Delicious, Quick and Curtious Staff. I don’t no why other reviews are negative, the food is clean, fresh and tasty, a pleasure to reorder from them regularly.
Gone down over the years.. I’ve been going to Golden Star for about 50 years now. Lately it has gone downhill. No more garlic in their garlic sauce. No celery in their guy ding. Almond cookies don’t even look like almond cookies. No more egg in their fried rice and on top of that they changed the name from Tan Ca Luck to the tacky Golden Star. No more, I go to Brother Wu now.
Bland tasteless food…cheap fatty meat…luke warm…charge for delivery 1 block away. May as well put up a sign saying you dont want my business.
By far THE WORST Chinese I’ve ever had. Extremely oily and burnt tasting. Completely inedible. The manager was extremely rude and yelled at me on the phone saying that is just their ‘style’ and not to order again if its not to my taste. Since when is burnt a style of cooking and who likes that? I asked for a refund and sent all the food back but they only credited me 1/2 the money. Awful awful awful!!!
