The shittiest cheese and meat pies I’ve ever had in my life. They were cold and the cheese pie had easily an inch of bread with the most mediocre cheese sandwiched between the two one inch halves of bread. Never going here again.
Good price but not good food. Ordered a large falafel sandwich and a falafel platter. Food took one hour and a half to be delivered, was not hot, bread looked like a hard shell taco. In the platter, hummus looked like it was mixed with water to look creamy, potatoes were not cooked all the way through, tasteless rice and dodgy falafel, garlic sauce was the only really tasty thing. The sandwich was cold, it was not as bad has the platter. Its a shame that some greek restaurants actually make better lebanese food than a lebanese restaurant.
WORST shawarma and customer service ever!!. This place does not deserve one star how it has 3 out of 5 is quite a mystery. My gf and I decided to try this place as she lived nearby and we’re both fond of lebanese food. The cost for a large shawarma was 8 something and unlike most Lebanese eateries, the food was not prepared in front of us so we had to trust that the person preparing the food would get our order right and make us a good sandwich. She did neither. We were hungry and very disappointed to arrive home to notice that the lady who made our sandwiches, completely messed up our order putting ingredients we didn’t request and very little of it as well, it was the skinniest sandwich I had in my life, a couple of pieces of chicken and hardly anything else. I called Mont liban from home and explained the situation to the lady and she argued with my gf and I that she made our shawarmas as we had requested which of course she did not. I told her, susu was her name, that I wanted a refund for the pathetic excuse of a meal we paid for but of course she refused. There are many good Lebanese eateries in town but I highly encourage all to never go to this one.15 Dec, 2014Shawarma and customer service ever!!. Good value. The bakery is great. They have a nice selection of fresh Lebanese pizzas with toppings like spinach, cheese, tomatoes, etc. Really good value too. For a full personal pizza it cost less than $3
Best breads!. I really like this place. I eat here pretty often. I normally get the chicken shawarma sandwich with extra garlic sauce and I’ve always enjoyed it. The servers are also ridiculously friendly and the place is really cute; small with a couple of tables to get a quick bite to eat. The one thing that puts them above the rest though are their lebanese breads. I absolutely love them, especially the feta and spinach one. They always make them fresh. Super tasty! I’m a huge fan of this place for some quick and yummy food.
Quite possibly the worst food I have ever tasted!. I cannot believe how horrid and inedible the food we ordered here was. More than half ended up in the trash.Ive been making most of my Lebanese at home since its so easy to get the ingredients needed locally. Including the highly addictive garlic sauce that everyone loves. Its way cheaper and in my opinion tastes better too, but I digress. It was New Years Eve, so lets order out they said. Itll be good they said. We ordered Kafta Plate ($12) and a Chicken Brochette Plate ($12). Seems simple enough, right? What we receive at the door looked promising. Two large paper bags with what looked to be decent portion sizes. We open up our containers and the presentation showed potential too. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. The Kafta was as dry as could be. Its bad enough it looks like a medium size dog turd. The dryness only accentuated its fecalness. I will refer to it as the turd from hereon. I tried to eat about half of one, but it was like chewing on a dog toy. I opened the salad that came with it. It looked like they quartered a head of iceberg lettuce and without separating anything put it in the container added a few anemic slices of cucumber, tomato, cheap dressing, and TA-DA!!! One crapola salad to go! I put the salad beside turd and ventured forth with what was left. I guess they wanted to give me the impression that they had given me extra pita by splitting one in half. How resourceful! :/ Now I can dip my paper-thin pita into my abundant supply of runny hummus. It was messy, but at this point I was famished and felt royally ripped-off, so down it went. Not sure how they managed to f8ck-up the potatoes, but they did. They were over seasoned with some unknown salty powder that did not complement the garlic sauce. Ate as many of those as I could before setting them next to the turd and quarter head of lettuce. The only thing that was near fit for human consumption was the rice. The Chicken Plate had the same issues as the Kafta and this is getting longer than I planned, so Ill stick to the highlights of this culinary calamity. The chicken, like the turd, was tough as old boots, tasteless and looked like it had been sitting somewhere for way too long. My partner was brave enough to try it before sadly sticking to rice.So there you have it! We paid $30 for rice! Happy fn New Year!
