Really enjoyed my lunch. Very fresh and flavourful. Looking forward to trying something else from the menu. Will definitely recommend and definitely come back!
Really good food! But service is hit or miss, since it’s a really small and busy place.
Ok we were at the Wellington site. Yes the best nachos ever. Not only we had tacos 6 different one very tasty and good presentation. All in all very good. But the should change the cloth the was the table with it had an awful smell The service nothing to get exited with. The positive nachos the best.
This is the review for the new Wellington Location. I went here with high hopes, but realistic. I heard nothing but good things about them. We arrived, waited 30 minutes for a drink order. You could tell the servers are overwhelmed. We got our drinks and that was the only one for the night, after 1 and 1/2 hours, we were never asked if we wanted another.Their beer selection is limited and on hip wellington, this could be a problem. Only 2 tequila’s as well.We ordered some appies a nacho plate, guac and Calamari. Ok, I hate being like this, but the Calamari was the worst we ever had. Didn’t finish it, for 8$ as well. The Guac was price club nacho chips with what we would consider a side dish of Guac, enough for three chip dips. Also, it was COLD, not warm, not room tempature, cold, icy.The taco’s were ordered and took 40 minutes to get. Small $4/each. Again, the taco’s were cold and we all add to add sauce just to get some flavor. I ordered the squid (bad mistake after the calamari) the pork (which was ice cold and so dry and tastless), chicken, tandori. Most of us couldn’t finish our meals as they were cold and really poor taste. I could tell the server knew we were unhappy.I hope this place gets its act together, it will not survive with service/quality like this on Wellington. It was very disappointing. We sadly, won’t give it a second chance unless we hear otherwise, i worry this will happen with alot of people.
Best nachos my husband and I have ever had! Only can comment on the nachos because that is all we had, but we will be back to try more!! Cute little restaurant, with a patio that doubles its capacity. Service was great. Nachos with beef came with a delicious assortment of toppings! Gaucamole, mango salsa, salsa Fresca, crema, pickled jalepenos, and more!! So delicious.! Priced accordingly considering the size and amount of toppings. Serving was an adequate meal for 2. Loved that the kitchen staff had extended work area to the outside (visible from patio) and were making tortillas. I cannot wait to try their tacos with house made tortillas! We will definitely return!!
Very disappointing, the chips were from Costco (kirkland brand) and the salsa was bland. As was all the protein and everything was overcooked. The fish was frozen and pre-cooked and re-heated when you order. The tortillas were thick and dense. It says gluten free on the menu but it’s not gluten free. The beef was boiled in a pan and overcooked. Was really looking forward to authentic Mexican but it’s far from it. Also could see into the kitchen prep area and that there is lots of cross-contamination with the food. Won’t recommend or go back.
Along with the quirky and homey mexicana decor, this tiny eatery serves up some of the freshest and tasties street sandwiches east of Kingston. Their vegetable nachos are to die for and of course the selection of tacos will keep me coming back for more! YUMMMY!!
