Food plates are smaller comparing with the similar restaurants at the Samerset street.. Not only the prices are higher, but also the food plates are smaller. You have to order two dishes for your lunch. Otherwise, you will be hungry in two hours. The Pho LA Express staff like to open door and make the inside temperature the same as outside, and do not care the customers only wearing T-shirts and sitting there to catch cold. Also, this makes food cooling quickly.
Pho LA Express is not express!!!!!!!!!!. We went there and gave them the order sheets, waiting 50 minutes to get the food on out tables.They did not care the customers that much. The air circulation was not good and they had to open door to bring fresh air in, just ignore that it was windy and -10C degree outside.
Delicious pho in the heart of Vanier. Broth was super yummy and all the fixings were great! The deep fried wontons with spicy mayo were also quite yummy. The decor was nice and modern, very clean. Will definitely be returning. Good stuff!

The best pho I’ve ever had. I stumbled upon this gem on my way home today and I can’t wait to go back. Best pho I’ve had in Ottawa, so flavourful and the beef was perfect. The guy at the cash was very sweet too. Overall wonderful experience!
