Was thinking about charcoal grilled chicken all day. I’m from Montreal, so more common to find this offering. I had driven by Pili Pili but never stopped in. What an absolute treat. Everything was excellent. The generous portion of plantain, perfectly grilled chicken, great rice and a nice small salad. The young lady behind the counter was really terrific. Great service. I got a little HOT sauce on the side, and it was very flavourful. I will return again , and bring my friends. Thank you.
Just went to the Dalhousie location for the second time. The first time (about a month ago) I ordered the lunch special with leg/thigh + rice (medium spice), today I got the breast with salad (also medium spiced). Both times the chicken was EXCELLENT – easily the best in the city. Normally I’m a dark meat kind of gal, but even their breast meat is super flavourful and juicy! Service is fantastic – the friendliest I’ve had in Ottawa (and I’ve lived here for 7 years) …the guy at the front counter could be a game show host, he’s so outgoing! Today I called my order in (I work 5 minutes away) and the food was ready when I arrived! Highly recommended will absolutely be going back!
