Low quality service and food. Food wasn’t good and it took a long time to get the food. The price isn’t even as cheap as you would expect it to be. Lastly the server would be standing right by our table making it uncomfortable to eat. Over all not the best sushi place, especially if you eat sushi regularly.
Been a regular at Masa since they’ve opened, but won’t be going there anymore. The last 3 visits have not been good. Not only the service has declined but quality has also. Went on a Monday as it isn’t busy. We waited 30 minutes to get our order and in the end we didn’t even get everything. We finally got fed up and left. Sorry Masa, that’s how you lose customers, there are lots of Sushi restaurants around. I’ll be going back to Makimono on Hwy 7.21 May, 2013Went last night again with my wife and a friend. The service was excellent, the waitresses were very friendly and were in a good mood (rarely see this in other sushi restaurants). The food was fresh and tasty. Didn’t wait too long for our food. I continue to recommend this restaurant. Nothing special about this place. Service is below average as well goes for food. Don’t know why would one person below comments twice with same review but different date!!?
Don’t expect a mind blowing experience, because AYCE sushi rarely does. But asides from that, this is most definitely the finest AYCE sushi in the woodbridge area (I’ve been to them all), especially considering the modest price. The fish is very fresh more times than not, and service is friendly and fast, when its not too too busy. I’ve been to this place since the weekend it opened, and saw the clientele expand for good reason. They offer an array of items that goes beyond what your average AYCE sushi (coconut shrimp, cheese wontons, salmon roe sushi and plethoras of specialty rolls I haven’t seen anywhere else, including one delicious kiwi fruit and unagi concoction) which are always carefully and elegantly presented.Overall, they go that extra mile compared to other AYCE sushis in its price range, and that’s what keeps me going over and over again. If you go, give the Weston or the Brandon roll a try.
Love this place. I am a regular here, and this is why: Friendly, happy staff, and exceptional food. Ive been countless ayce sushi from barrie down to florida, and so far masa’s quality and consistency is unmatched. Love it, keep up whatever it is you are doing! Go here, you won’t be dissapointed!
Best in Vaughan!. I’m very particular with the Sushi I eat — you can either hit or miss with me (most miss) and it needs to be perfect to gain my business; This place delivers everytime.My girlfriend loves sushi; so we were on a quest to find a good sushi place in the area (recently moved). We now make it a point to go atleast once per week. It is fantastic here: the staff is always friendly, the food is fresh (most important factor imo), the lay out is soothing and eloquent.I definately recommend this place and I sincerely hope they keep up with the precedence they have set.
Masa Sushi was delicious and fresh! The service was good.The only thing I can say I wasn’t fond of was the booth layout, it felt like you were sitting beside the person next to you on the other booth. Overall I enjoyed it 🙂
