Great specials and a lot to choose from on the menu. My selections are usually the steak special of the day and the home made soups.
Superb Lunch!. We had a nice lunch meeting at Piacere. I had the bacala dish which reminded me of my Calabrese mother in law’s cooking. My clients were very impressed with the place and service. It was a comfortable spot for a lunch meeting. Will be back !
Best Ristorante in Woodbridge. I would like to start off with saying the customer service at Piacere is nothing but outstanding. All the employee’s especially the owner himself treat you like you are eating right at home. They are warm and friendly and cater to your every need. Their simple attention to detail makes all the difference, wether it be a refill of water or clearing of your empty plate they are prompt and friendly with every interaction. The indoor atmosphere and outdoor patio provides options for whatever mood you are in. I have dined here on numerous occasions and I have never written a review in my life but I want everyone to know how great the food at this restaurant really is. Starting from the bread they bring you when you sit down – lightly toasted and brushed with olive oil rosemary and a hint of garlic, the antipasto platter filled with black and green olives, cheese, sopressata, calamari, boconccini, shrimps and much much more pleasantly starts of any meal. My favourite entree is thier osso bucco with gnocchi, I dont know if words could possibly describe how amazing this dish really is, two very large pieces of succulent fall off the bone meat braised in an authentic italian tomato sauce paired with a side of prefectly textured gnocchi. The portion, taste, and pleasurch this dish gives you is like nothing youve ever had before! I would never tell my sicilian grandmother this but it even beats her version of this dish by a million percent.Ending the meal with a delicious capuccino accompanied with a biscotti adding a touch of italian class. I also went for a sicilian favourite – Granita icecream served in a hollowed out lemon which not only tasted great but looked too pretty to eat! ( I did eat it all of course ) – the others that accompanied myself to dinner had nothing but good things to say about thier dishes , wether it was thier filet minon wrapped in bacon with mushroom sauce to thier special of the day – I will say that out of a party of 9 every single person left pleasantly plump and not one single complaint about anything!I urge you to try this restaurant and after reading reviews of people who do not like it or have had a bad experience they must be picky and unappreciative of the true class and amazing quality of this retaurant.With the great prices, out of this world service, and delicously perfect food there is not a single italian restaurant in vaughan that can outshine Piacere.Keep up the great work and I will continue to be a loyal customer for life!
All I did was bought Tiramisu for my wife for takeout and it was terrible, terrible Tiramisu I ever ate in my Life. I don’t know how people didn’t noticed that and complaint to them! I am also a chef, I made Tiramisu in restaurant and the guy tells me they never got any complaint, lol
Superb food and service, good for special occasions. We stumbled upon this restaurant quite accidentally a month ago, but glad we did. Food and service was great. The restaurant itself is very elegant, yet comfy. Great comfort food, I ordered the orecchiette con salsiccia e rapini, it tasted authentic. My date enjoyed the osso buco con gnocchi. The only downside (depending on your financial position of course) is that it is slightly pricier, but great place for a celebratory dinner! Be warned, you will need to pay for your water!
Superb service, great food. Went there on Sat night, ordered dinner specials – lobster pasta, and my partner got a veal chop with vegetables. my pasta was homemade, fresh and delicious, the veal chop was great too.service was super fast, there were no women working, only men, and even though there were a lot of people at the restaurant, we got drinks within 2 minutes after being seated. the only problem is that the bill was higher than expected, we got 4 glasses of house wine, paid 46$, would have been better off with a bottle. and the specials turned out to be more pricey than other items on the list, even though we assumed that specials would be a better value. ( note: specials are presented to you verbally, you do not see prices ahead of time ).we will definitely come back, but will be more careful next time
Not So Good. Seafood was very bad old maybe, service was good and price was not so good.
