  Disappointing!!. Went with 2 other people. Arrived at 6pm and we were the only people in the place for 45 min. It took 50 mins to even get the apps, whch were uninteresting and bland. Waited another 45 mins for entree. 2 of us got the wrong meal. The staff didn’t seem to know the menu and didn’t care either. There was a total of 4 groups in the restaurant the entire evening. We were there 2.5 hours, extremely slow service. A few days later I phoned the restaurant to expresss my concern about our experience. The owner Tracy, did not address the concerns, but put me off to her assistant, Brenda. She was argumentative and confrontational on the phone. I will never go back. I had been looking forward to The Belworth House but will never return.

  I didn’t think it was worth the money! Far to expensive for nothing special. The entire time we were their I felt uncomfortable because I could hear staff in the kitchen having personal conversations. My battered fish had scales left on for consumption and it was obviously overlooked because it was only a small portion of the fish. My steak which was a good cut had almost no flavour. Very disappointing! The vegetable plate made no sense… 1 of each vegetable to be shared between 2 people. Why not bring us 2 plates or add more vegetables so sharing wasn’t ridicules!? I felt like we were gouged on just about everything! One small glass of wine could have bought us a whole bottle anywhere else. What should have been a romantic night out was anything but!

  Excellent food. Unique, local items prepared in exciting ways. This is NOT fast food, so plan on making an evening of it. Worth the $$
