Amazing food! Prompt service, wide variety of foods on the menu. A quiet and nice environment. Was 120 for me and my boyfriend for a full meal apps to coffee and dessert not including tip. Well worth it. We went at 8 pm and there were only 3 other tables full as it closes at 10 so it was nice and quiet all night for us. Very welcoming staff, the manager came to ask us how everything was even though we’re younger than the average diner in the mill. Definitely recommended!!

Was there last year in April. My client manager and the Sr. Director along with his family took me out for dinner to the mills. By far one of the best dining experiences. It’s an 18th century mill on a farm restored and converted into a diner. Typical old style mill ambience, warm and cozy, fabulous service and Excellent food. It’s a very elaborate menu to choose from with several options. Everything that we ordered was very good. I still can’t forget the fois gras and the rare medium rib eye steak. Thank you Jackie and Tim for the memorable treat.

Excellent!. We had a special anniversary dinner at Aberfoyle Mill. The server was very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent. We had the prime rib and the salmon and both really enjoyed our meal. Unfortunately we were too full to have dessert! Over all, an excellent experience!

Worse lunch ever. Both my wife experienced one of our most disappointing meals ever. We ordered each a Caesar Salad, expecting a freshly made salad for the $19.00 each but what we received was a most disappointing serving. The lettuce was not too fresh, the cheese was plunked down, not mixed, the same with the bacon bits and two hidden croutons. The dressing was Renee’s at the best . For less $10 we could have made a Caesar Salad that would have served 4. What a massive disappointment.

Very Good Food with Excellent Service. Last night myself and 7 friends were leaving Guelph on our way back towards Hamilton. Upon a suggestion from a friend in Guelph we stopped at the Aberfoyle Mill. We let the host know that we weren’t the quietest bunch. He immediately brought us to the back room with a table for 8 already set. We had the room to ourselves. Our server Ellen was excellent. She had numerous suggestions for us throughout the evening and was not wrong on any of them. I split the Linguine Pasta as an appetizer, as well as the Duck Pate. Both were excellent. Ellen suggested the Caesar Salad and a number of the group ordered it and couldn’t say enough about the bacon as well as the dressing. For our mains, it was mainly steaks, pork chops and rack of lamb. All cuts of meat were cooked just as they were ordered. The reductions on each of the dishes were received with many compliments. My pork was medium to medium well, just the way I like it. For dessert, we had the cheesecake (another suggestion) and the pecan tart. We all agreed that the cheesecake was very good and a great recommendation. The dcor is dated and the cooking is traditional in it’s approach. We all agreed that if in the area again, we would return. Thanks again to Ellen who has been there for 18 years!

Had the stuffed chicken and it was excellent. The chicken was very moist, the potatoes were fluffy and the vegetables were quite tasty. Tried the vanilla bean creme brle as well… Also very yummy (not that I had much room left for it lol). The staff was exceptionally friendly as well. Will return!
