The Wellington Diner is the ugly face of Bigotry and Racism in Ottawa. The owner, Jeff Frost, used his diner menu board to make disgusting comments targeting the Muslim community (see enclosed picture). Is it really the type of place where you want to spend your hard earned money? A restaurant should be a place where everyone can feel welcome, not a place where people are targeted based on their personal beliefs! So please save your time and enjoy a more respectable place instead. There is plenty of nicer food options in that area 😉

The Wellington Diner is an overall pretty average diner. The decor is probably the only thing that really stands out about it. The first time I went, the food was great and the staff was attentive. Unfortunately, the most recent time I went, the food was so-so, the wings were actually quite bad and my milkshake seemed to only be half mixed. The staff was mostly inattentive, as they seemed to be dealing with some sort of inspection. Regardless, I’d probably go back again, but I’m in no rush.
