Amazing Restaurant. We discovered this restaurant by accident and have been back many times since. We always get the all you can eat option and have rarely been disappointed. The food is always fresh and made to order and tastes delicious, it’s also not salt laden like at other Chinese restaurants. The servers are always friendly and prompt to seat you, bring you your order and the bill at the end of the meal. Highly recommend Asia Express.

Great experience. Tried it for the first time and enjoyed the food a lot. Had a huge variety of different dishes. The servers were nice and quick. There were some great dishes we tried and loved the calamari (cooked perfectly). Great value for the selection you get. Looking forward to going back there again.

Not that good. Went to try this place for the first time because of the reviews. The decor is nice and simple. However the food did not meet my expectations (and I don’t have that high of expectations). The edamame did not taste right at all. The tempura was VERY oily. The chicken teriyaki was drenched in teriyaki sauce that was overly sweet and the chicken was dry and had a weird taste. The sushi was mainly rice. The avocado crispy pizza was again too greasy with too much mayo. The chow mein noodles was good but the portion was way too large. The only dish I really enjoyed was the salad…sadly. Don’t recommend this place. But I guess that’s what you get for the price.

Great Food & Great Value. My wife & I were getting our passports renewed in the same Mall & were ready for lunch – saw Asia Express & gave it a try. Service was excellent, food was fresh & tasty. Will definitely return. BTW, review that said the crab sashimi they had for lunch was terrible is suspect, as sashimi is not available for lunch, only dinner!

Go for the sushi. The sushi is basic and fresh, reasonably priced with generous portions. The service is quick, helpful and friendly. Our family have visited the restaurant many times as well as ordered sushi platters for home delivery and we have never been disappointed. I have been reading some of the reviews on here and find it interesting when someone says…”blah blah…etc., the food is no good, go to this other restaurant (insert restaurant name here)”. I wonder if some of the employees from the competitors write these unfair reviews as I have also been to some of the quoted restaurants and they are not as good as the sushi we eat at Asia Express. We keep coming back to Asia Express again and again. As I said in the title go for the sushi. p.s. I do not work for any restaurant nor am affiliated with Asia Express, I am just a regular customer who enjoys basic, decently priced fresh sushi.

One of the worst sushi restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food was not good at all. Definitely not worth the money, and I would never return. There are so many other better options to choose from.

Disgusting :(. We thought we’d give this little place a try and service was great, but the restaurant was almost vacant and when the food start coming I understood why. Th sushi/maki rolls were 75% rice, an very little topping/fish, except for the crispy tempura bits (lots of that, everywhere). The lo mein noodles were underflavoured like they were just boiled an thrown into a bowl, and not given any sauce.Th vietnamese/thai clear rice wrap roll & dipping sauce taste rancid. My husband’s salmon sushi pizza was gross, it taste like they had fried up the rice patty yesterday an just microwave it before he ordered, it was super tough an chewy in a way that a fried rice patty just shouldn’t be (I know what refrigerated rice tastes like an that was it, dry, dry, dry…).I really on’t recommend coming here unless you’re desperate and this is the last sushi place open (plus side, it didn’t make us sick). I recommend going to Oshawa for Go Believe Sushi for a better experience in Durham, or Tatami Sushi in Toronto (east end) if you want the best sushi experience ever.If you think this is good sushi, you really need to visit Tatami. The picture above look nothing like what we got when we went, either it’s another restaurant completely, or they’ve declined a lot since that was taken.
