Yumm-o. We eat north Indian cuisine quite a bit. All the dinners we have had here have been fabulous! Honestly, this place should be packed every night. It’s just a well kept secret until everyone finds out how yummy it is.We have never had the lunch buffet (can’t wait to try) but the take out was fresh and well portioned. We celebrated out anniversary dinner there with a couple of friends and the selection of foods and drink on our table was divine! The more guests you bring the more food you get to try. Mmmm
Very good. Finally decided to try this restaurant with my husband. We have been regulars and were happy with an Indian place in the next town. Very happy with this place! Food was good, plentiful and service very good. The place seemed to have a pretty brisk takeout and delivery business going on.$60 for dinner for two — with a glass of wine and a substantial take out container. We’ll go back.
Signature has done wonders to this location restaurant I am WHITBY since 1994. Had been to many Indian restaurant in GTA and downtown. Since my first visit to Signature in 2010 I am their regulars. The take out is also outstanding both quality and quantity they have setup new standards for Indian food. My fav is chicken madras ,lamb vindaloo green chicken tikka apps alootiki veg pakora and fresh baked tandoori garlic nan of course chicken is white meat… Lot of place serving cheap Indian food with cheap quality. I recommend to try out. Don’t forget kingfisher.
Let down by Signature and very disappointed with Valentine’s buffet. Valentine’s buffet was advertised on the restaurant’s website but the price was not displayed. A phone call verified it to be $15.99 per person. The person on the phone could not tell me how many dishes were offered in the buffet or what they were. I went ahead and made reservations based on great takeout I had bought there before….Wait staff were extremely disorganized. Waitress ignored us our entire stay and took over a minute to acknowledge we had even walked into the place. The main hostess ended up getting us started several minutes later and taking our beverage order. After several more minutes the hostess came back with water but had forgotten what drink we had ordered.Buffet plates were stacked on a table beside the waiting area which had people sitting in chairs, I had to ask them to get up to reach the plates.Overheard several customer complaints and apologies from staff over the course of the meal for missed/forgotten items ordered.Buffet consisted of 8 or so hot dishes, rice and a small salad/vegetable bar. Naan was made to order and had to be asked for. Rice was clumped together inside a large home-use rice cooker.Samosas were slightly stale and had little filling insideGarden style salad mix looked very old and bordering on spoiledMeat dishes were huge tanks of sauce with few, very small pieces of meat at the bottom that you had to dig for. They had very little seasoning or kick.Chicken pieces were very soft and wet and had obviously not been marinated in the sauce but rather cooked separately and dropped in. Paneer cubes were smaller than any other Indian restaurant I have eaten at. They had little to no flavor.Tandoori chicken pieces were not properly cooked. The first piece I took was soft and pink inside. The second drumstick was better but still seemed a little underdoneWe completed 75% of our first plate before naan arrived. It was delicious and by far the best part of the meal, obviously made fresh. However it was one naan cut into 4-5 pieces, for two people. We took a second plate of food, and asked for another order of naan. We were not checked on for the rest of our stay and our naan never arrived.While paying at the cash register I saw a single confused and stressed looking chef emerge with a naan which none of the waitstaff knew what table it was for, which I assume was ours. Overall the experience was a big letdown. The staff had no clue what they were doing and seemed totally unprepared for the number of people that showed up. The food was the worst I’ve ever had from Signature, prior to this I had ordered takeout exclusively which was much higher quality. Sadly, I don’t think I will be eating there again.
Not up to Indian standard. I’ve eaten at Signature before and had their take out but this time I was disapointed. We had 3 dishes and Naan. I noticed the sauce in one of the dishes separated if left idle which was something I hadn’t noticed before. Also the dishes were lackluster, meat in them not great in taste and spicyness. The most obvious error and the easiest to produce was the Naan. It was rubbery beyond words and beyond consumption. Was it baked a while ago and kept in tinfoil until a customer ordered it? I have never had Naan like that. Bad !!

Lovely food. It was a delicious meal last Saturday. 8 of us and everybody licked the bowls. Very well prepared have been lots of Indian Places and had everything on the menu but this place cooking was exceptional and very fresh tasting packed with flavours. Must have Kingfisher with the meal.
