    I have been here a few times and each time was just as good as the last. The maintain a great service record, staff are friendly and helpful. The food is terrific! Definitely the best sushi place in town.

    I went yesterday lunch on a sunday, and it was very busy.Despite being so busy we recieved great service.Food was fresh and properly on time. I would definitely recommend this place, and the price is a lot better than most places.

    Went yesterday and always the food was very good. The service was SO horrible!!!! They were rude and took the plates before we were done. We were rushed even though it was pretty empty, very uncomfortable. They changed the order system and though there were 4 of us they brought everyone’s ice cream in the same bowl cause they were the same flavour. Rethinking ever going again

    SLOW!!. Visiting family in Whitby, thought I would pick up sushi for dinner. Saw Sushi Today was close by so thought I’d give it a try. Ordered online, 30 min pick up time. Seemed like a long time for one roll and 8 pieces of sashimi but went with it. Arrived at restaurant and server had no idea where my order was. The sushi chef had to stop what he was doing to assist. I then continued to wait 15 more mins for my order. While I was waiting multiple customers came up to the cash to pay their bill and staff Didn’t seem to know what was going on, yelling at each other. Weird. In the end I waited 45 minutes for a small take out order on a Monday night!! Came with no extras like salad or soup, which I’m normally used to at other sushi joints. Food was MEH

    An empty shell of what it used to be…. I just marked this location is permanently closed as it was recently renovated in reopened under a new name, with completely new management.Despite being my favorite sushi restaurant previously my first visit yesterday under the new ownership and business name was dismal. To begin the restaurant was frigid inside, we had to wear our jackets as did many others and even the staff were working with their winter jackets on it wasn’t evident if there was a problem with their heating system as despite commenting on it several times it did not seem like many of the staff spoke English well enough to really communicate with the underlying issue may have been. If this was an attempt at cost-saving they are quickly going to destroy their customer base – it was downright uncomfortably cold in the restaurant! On a positive note they have switched to an iPad based ordering system like many other sushi restaurants, and I expected this to be a big plus. Unfortunately the stuff was rather inattentive to it and often seemingly confused about the whole thing as it took an exceptionally long time to get our first order of food, and even longer to get our second order we were left with nothing to eat for a period of time. Thankfully the food was still good, unfortunately the price for lunch has gone up by a few dollars but now includes a soda, which is not everybody may necessarily want. I have marked this location as closed and the new business name should be entered so that the reviews can start anew this New restaurant certainly does not deserve the glowing reputation of its predecessor at this point in time

    USE TO BE GOOD. Do not waste your time going to this place, staff is poorly trained, food is not fresh, and you cannot communicate with anyone there.b
