Been coming here for a couple years and it’s always a hit and miss. Their service and food can be great one visit and bad the next. Last time I went I think I got food poisoning and their fish doesn’t seem to be consistently fresh. It’s also very pricey for their all you can eat.
Best Sushi Bar Ever. I went to the Tatemono Sushi Bar over the weekend with my family and enjoyed every experience of it. The price was alright for three people (2 adults 1 child). This place was very welcoming, the customer service was beyond exceptional and the food was so delicious and presented very well. I will definitely go here over mandarin any day.
Visiting the area. Portions seem like a great deal. Food was tasty. I tris the bento box d and was a huge meal. The sushi wa good. The dumplings were a bit overlooked and likely from the freezer but the rest was excellent.
Lunch was great but the no debit scam – really??? Lame and cheap.
Dine 3-4 times at this location a month and never in my life have been asked to pay for 2 dishes that we couldn’t finish( after ordering from the all you can eat menu) and charging us an extra $10.Yes it is there policy that was presented to our family of 4 in a bad manor in fine print and shouldn’t be abused, not in our case agreed but you just lost my business .You can do the math! Many real fine dining restaurants in whitby please visit them away from here.!
The food was pretty alright. But the service was…weird. Going at lunch time the waitress lingered around the tables, which made us extremely uncomfortable. I think she was trying to monitor that people weren’t trying to hide food or whatever. The only reason I say this, is because whenever we asked for refills on water, it was like pulling teeth. Seriously, just strange.
Food is fantastic, but the service is seriously lacking. Lunch is okay but at dinner the waitresses rarely come around. They also brought us three items we didn’t order and charged us when we didn’t eat them
