Turns out making a reservation means nothing to this. Establishment. When questioning the manager about it he encouraged us to leave if we weren’t happy. They force upon you a 15% additional fee for large groups claiming its to bring in more staff for the night…. How about its for a mandatory tip…. Food itself wasnt bad until one of our group did find a beetle in their food, at which point was given 10% off, and if you read the aforementioned 15% fee, that means they still paid full price plus a 5% fee….. I can assure you myself or any of us will never go back…..

Last night, six of us dined at Tatemono Sushi Bar for AYCE. This was our second time so I guess that means we enjoyed it enough to return. The meal was a tad expensive – $80 for two AYCE and one Sapporo tall can w/ taxes & tip- but it is what it is. Since we spent so much, we tried to put as big a dent as we could into the kitchen. The food is ordered via tablet. The menu options come with pictures which is helpful. Food came quickly.My pint glass came with lipstick on it. I pointed this out to our server and he was quick to resolve the matter. We all enjoyed our food – and there was a lot of it.We also enjoyed the casualenvironment which was great for our laid-back group.
