Awesome Food. Went out with friends last night to the Lake Grill. Food was amazing. Steak is high quality, seafood fettucini was awesome…I have allergies to scallops so they took them out and they added more crab and shrimp and the crusted rack of lamb….absolutely delicious. Everything is made to order! Don’t let the location scare you away….certainly not beautiful on the outside, but the inside is quite cute and the ambiance is wonderful. Chef Mendoza comes out of the kitchen often to speak with his clients. The staff is pleasant and friendly. Portions are relatively large and their appetizers are huge, so you might want to share an appetizer. Price wasn’t bad for 4 people = $280.00 with 2 bottles of wine. Anyone who says this place is awful is nuts! This was out 1st time there and certainly won’t be our last. Will try breakfast next as they say it is great too. I honestly found this place very comparable to The Port in Pickering….only difference is the ambiance at the Port (being right on the lake!). Be sure to make reservations as they were turning people away at the door…..yes it is that popular and busy which says a lot! Only downfall is it is small and it gets warm inside, so wear short sleeves!

Breakfast at the Lake Grill. My first experience and certainly not my last. We decided to go for breakfast to the Lake Grill, the food was amazing. Unique and full of flavor. I had the lobster omelete and it was delightful. I was so impressed that I would definately return to this resturant. A lovely atmosphere, the staff were very nice. We took the children for breakfast and their were fantastic, they made pancakes with chocolate chips and a side bowl of lovely fresh fruit, the kids had a great time. I would not recommend taking the kids for dinner but I would definately say, get a sitter and take your partner and go for a great meal. You won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to return.
