Great pub food. Sat in for some fish and chips. Got the miss vickies breading on them which I recommend. Service was quick and price was cheap. Have had their wings before, all around great place for pub food.
AMAZING Burgers!. The Tap’s burgers are AMAZING. Hands down best I have had. They’re homemade burgers…they don’t come in frozen. I would much rather eat here than at a chain restaurant. Big burgers with loads of fries, you get a lot for your money. Order the burger with brie cheese and apple on it. The food is presented like a high-end pub, but not high-end pub prices. I really recommend.
Enjoyed The Tap. Came Here on a Tuesday night for a family dinner and everything was excellent The service was great, she was very friendly & attentive. The food was way better than I ever expected from a Pub. My husband and I had the fish & chips and they were marvellous. I was also super suprised of the amount of draft selection they had to offer. We drank steamwhistle because it was the beer special of the day. We will definately be returning…
I used to LOVE The Tap. Their prices have increased steadily over the last two years, but their food is great so I never minded before. HOWEVER…the service is brutal. The wait staff have iPads to take orders on, which takes twice as long as just writing the order down. Somehow, the waitress still managed to bring me the wrong order, and served a pregnant woman a DOUBLE vodka Caesar when she asked for a virgin Caesar. Lastly, my wings were cold when I got them the second time around (first order was wrong). I’m saddened by the decline in service and overall experience. I won’t be coming here anymore…the only thing keeping me were the cheap wings, but I can go elsewhere and get a hot meal instead.
We went for lunch on Saturday, had the Shepherds Pie and the Halibut and chips done with both types of batter, all the food was excellent. Service was friendly but REALLY slow and in attentive.. Only one waitress working, had about 5 tables going. Took over 20 minutes to get our food, refills on drinks were never offered, no check back to see if we needed anything (ie Ketchup). Actually went up to the bar to get our bill cause we were tired if waiting and wanted to leave. Again, great food, friendly service, just slow.
Yummy. Been here many times always excellent food. The fries are really good, I am pretty sure they are hand cut and sea salted. Great everything. Excellent cooks and excellent wait staff.
Terrible service and terrible food!!! Ordered the prosciutto wrapped chicken and it was wayyyyy over cooked…. Hard as rock! Will not be returning!
