Ordered calamari as an appetizer to our meal. When the calamari were brought to the table they were very undercooked. I dipped one of the tentacle pieces in the red sauce provided and told the waitress it was undercooked. She argued saying it looked fine but reluctantly took it back to the kitchen. She brought back the calamari that was now hard as a rock and burned and the piece I dipped in the sauce was in the pile. I told her that they obviously put the same calamari into the fryer and she again argued that they would never do that until I pointed out the dipped piece that was refried. She knew at that point there was no question. Never going back. There are a lot of great restaurants in our area that have better food, service and cleanliness. Below are pics of their bathroom. Urine stains on walls and very dirty and dusty.

When the pizza a river I did look good but by no means deep-dish. Not worth the wait. The pizza was very good and everyone was satisfied.Order from here it was good. just don’t waste your time and money on deep dish.

Definite competitor for top spot. My family and I have enjoyed this pizzeria many times over the past decade. As we travel from out of town ( Toronto) usually for only 2 days, Ive not had a chance to compare it with my 2 other favourite Windsor pizza sites, head to head, I must say it never fails to please. Shredded pepperoni is a must at any respectable Windsor pizzeria, and Armando’s hits it on the head. Topping balance, and delicious cornmeal kissed crust are winners. Sauce, while possibly understated, has perfect acidity, and doesnt try to steal the show. My only hesitation may be the mushrooms, which I gave question marks to all 3 of my favourite Windsor pizzerias! Job well done Armandos
Another great pizza! Came in on a Saturday night in group of 7. Told we had to wait 45 minutes which was accurateServed quickly once seated and waitress friendlyI was born and raised in Windsor area and left for Toronto area over 20 years agoI cannot find anywhere else that compares to Windsor pizza and Armando’s does Windsor pizza right !
Good Pizza. Stopped in for lunch and split a pizza. Nice crisp and crunchy crust. Tasty sauce that doesn’t overpower the pie and fresh toppings. The minestrone soup is chock full of veggies and is flavorful. Nice atmosphere with a friendly staff.
