Had dinner at the dominion house this evening. A bit skeptical at first but again don’t judge a book by its cover. The food was great, no complaints. Had fish n chips, shepherds pie and a burger. All were delicious, hot and big enough that we had left overs to take home. Would go back!!!!

Beer, Burgers and History. What’s not to like about a historic bar near the University that happens to have a great burger ? The Dominion House has a history dating back over 150 years. It has a great weathered look inside and out and serves tasty pub fare. Try the DH burger or one of its variations. A hand made patty char grilled to perfection with a pile of fries. (or soup or salad.) . All this for less than ten dollars.
