Worst Indian Food I’ve ever had. We decided to try this place because of all of the good reviews it received; however, we were very disappointed with our food. We ordered the butter chicken and the lamb curry. The butter chicken tasted nothing like it was supposed to and the sauce was lumpy and gross. It tasted as if there was cream of mushroom soup in the sauce. The lamb curry was equally as disappointing. It has no flavour and it tasted as if there was BBQ sauce in the curry. Overall, we were very disappointed and we will not go back to this location again.
Great food and Catering Service. Recently we had a medium size gathering to celebrate our brand new home. We had the food delivered by nice people at India palace restaurant. Food was fresh and tasty. Delivery was right on time and we had really good service from the folks at India Palace Restaurant. Great job guys, keep up the good work !!!!Amrit
Such good Indian food. We were driving through Windsor from South Carolina and decided to stop here as we missed having Indian food. We were pleasantly surprised at the authentic flavors and great service. It is a very spacious clean restaurant , a good place to eat anytime but also for a pleasant evening out. I would drive 2 hours just to eat there if I have a craving for this food.
On the Money. Could not have had a better end to a long day of house hunting. Ordered Meat Roti, Naan, Samosas (meat & veg), Lamb Korma, Butter Chicken and plain rice. Having spent 15 years in Van and eating at many amazing Indian restaurants we would put up Indian Palace against any of them, YES INCLUDING VIG’S. We had it delivered so the samosas were a little soggy(the side touching the chickpea stew), but I am not complaining just imaging how great it will be when we eat in. Better quality and more quantity than we would have expected for the money. Spent last seven years in Saskatchewan and have been disappointed so many times there when ordering Indian. What cost us 45$ would have been 80$ in Saskatoon and you would be lucky to get half the amount. Not sure why anyone who loves Indian food would be disappointed with this place….oh and by the way my wife is East Indian and I have been a chef for over 25 years.
Very disappointing. Walked a long distance to sample this highly rated restaurant and having just got home I’m sad to report that it doesn’t meet the reviews one bit. The onion bajii I had for starters was dry, bitty and totally tasteless. I then ordered a lamb balti with fried rice and a garlic naan. The curry was exceedingly mild (even though I requested warmer than medium) and the consistency was like a lumpy lentil soup. The fried rice had no flavour whatsoever even though it was a horrible yellow colour that left oily yellow residue on the plate. The naan was greasy and looked like it had been purchased from the supermarket.Totally disappointing meal, so much so I left half of it. The only plus side was the price, the food was on the lower end of what I would expect to pay for a good curry. One to avoid in my books.
AWESOME food, reasonable prices! Great experience! Would go back any day!
Excellent meal; one of the better Indian meals I have had. Not a fancy place but spices and texture were fabulous.
