A pitiful meal in Windsor, Ontario. Members of our family have been happily making the trip across the bridge to Windsor for a wonderful meal at the Mini for many years. Seven of us were there on Saturday evening. We were the only patrons for the first half hour. The restaurant has become quite shabby, grungy buildup on the doors, the pages of my menu stuck together. Nevertheless, we ordered, my food was edible. The starters were nicely executed. The one salad ordered was very good. Several meals weren’t good at all. The service was fine and friendly but it didn’t make up for the poor food. A lot of food was left on what should have been empty plates. Later, we learned that other regulars from Michigan have stopped eating at The Mini.16 Jul, 2011Terrific. Years ago our son took us to The Mini in Windsor, Ontario. I had never eaten Vietnamese food. It was great. We now need our passports to go into Canada (how sad is that?). We love the Mini and look forward to returning soon for another awesome meal. They let me use chopsticks!!

Great food and friendly service. One of my favorite. Best spring rolls in town. Sweet and sour chicken comes in fresh pineapple, great noodle dishes too. Menu has lots to choose from. Something for everyone.
I had the deep fried banana for dissert… AMAZING!!!! Thin crust for some crunch to off set the smoothness of the banana, drizzled with sweet strawberry sauce. Absolutely delicious 🙂
Amazing Eats, this place kicks ass. Better than any Canadianized chinese food I’m use to. Special pepper chicken rocks
