Disappointed. I was so excited to have an authentic Mexican restaurant open in my neighbourhood. The reviews were very positive, so I could not wait to try it out. I took my aunt and brother and we were very disappointed. Nice clean restaurant with good ambiance but that is where it ended. The menu was pricey, the food was just so-so and the portions were small. They only give you a very small bowl tortillas and charge if you want more. Sorry Palenque, I will not be returning and I will continue to go State side to Mexican Village.
Forget about mexican town!!!. Forget about ever going to mexican town in the states, this is the real deal. All the food is prepared fresh right down to the salsa. I`ve never tasted food so flavourful. My husband and I have been there twice and will continue to go there. The prices were low and the quality was high. Also the marguritas were delishious. The only flaw is that it takes a while to get your food, but its worth the wait. Hope this restaurant lasts a long time.
First and last taste. Service was sporadic. Wasn’t offered a drink menu. The food was ok. Room for improvement.

Just back from having lunch here with my Mom and 2 sister’s. Food was excellent, service great, very friendly. House salad with pomegranate seeds, jicama and mango delicious. We tried Palenque Taco’s, House barrittos and Flautos all very good. Would recommend to experience some great authentic Mexican food.
Yummy for the tummy. This restaurant is both delicious in taste and in management. Francois and Patricia put their hearts and souls into each and every dish they serve, and do so with love and dedication. Its a nice change from the usual Mexican meals. The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. It’s quaint and authentic decor add to the whole experience of dining here. If your looking for a new Mexican restaurant to add to your favorites, ADD THIS ONE.
