Worst pizza. The worst pizza ever!The dough was clearly old. Dry and would not brown up, a clear sign of old dough.The service was also poor and the waitress ‘s negative comments unprofessional.Will not be going back.Ever.
Riverside Tavern Worst Dining Experience Ever. We had the worst dining experience ever at the Riverside Tavern. Waitress was rude and slow; the wait was incredibly long despite the place being almost empty; I was told if I wanted a full cup refill on my coffee, I would be charged extra, one of the waitresses was doing shots with the patrons at the next table (during breakfast hours). We were so appalled by the service that we called later to speak to the manager. The manager’s wife got on the phone and yelled at us and hung up on us. 20 minutes later the police called our home stating that we are not allowed to return to the restaurant, WHAT? This is how they handle customer service complaints, by calling the police. They could have apologized and kept us as customers but they chose to act like this. This place does not deserve to be open. Stay Away!!!

Disappointed :(. Unfortunately I got a bad vibe from the moment I ordered. The girl/woman that answered the phone sounded as though she could not get me off the phone quick enough. It was a Sunday night later in the evening so I would imagine it was not crazy busy but either way, not great customer service. My panzerotti came and it was completely soggy on the bottom and all the ingredients tasted as they were not cooked inside (bacon, pepperoni) . Gross. Additionally, my bruschetta was soggy as well and was probably the worst bruschetta I had ever eaten. The only highlight of the entire order was the kind delivery man that delivered my food. Unfortunately this is the second order within the last 6 months that I was disappointed with. They used to be one of my favorites but the entire service/food etc. has went down down down and I will no longer be ordering from here again. For a $30 phone order including a $3.00 delivery charge, I would expect a meal to be much better than it was. Sorry for the bad review and wish you the best in the future!
My boyfriend and I moved into the neighbor about a year ago. We were excited to have a family owned diner within walking distance, but we have been very disappointed at each visit. It’s not the food that is the issue, but rather the staff. They always seem annoyed to be working, you have to call them over to order, or for a drink refill. When you go up to the counter, they seemed preoccupied and not interested in your service. The dining room is in need of a renovation as well. We tried to give it a few chances to redeem itself, but haven’t been back in a long time.
Great concept: BBQ sause for pizza. Buy a bottle, it goes great on all pizza!
