Worst breakfast I have ever had. I was excited to come here for breakfast after reading the reviews this morning. I’m not sure what the hell happened between the time those reviews were posted and today but was my experience was verydifferent. Not only did I wait an hour for my food but I ordered the breakfast special and received hard poached eggs when I ordered soft, shrivelled up sausages that looked like they were from last week, toast without butter and my home fries consisted of five small pieces of potato. My girlfriend ordered the skillet and said it tasted terrible. The veggies in it we’re complete mush. She also was never asked about a refill for her coffee. Halfway thru our wait the server turned off the open sign and started turning away customers saying it would be an hour wait for breakfast. Wish I had been turned away from the beginning so my Sunday wasn’t ruined with such a frustrating and awful breakfast experience. I will not be back, would not recommend it.
Breakfast: Hot, Fast Sooo Good. Ok, so we walked in around ten and there are only a few people in the place, but we are hungry so we decide to stay and give it a try. Why this place is not full from the time they open is beyond me. Myself and my wife have run a successful breakfast/lunch coffee house for the last seven years and can be picky at times. Super friendly server who never let our coffee run out despite the place started to fill-up about 15 min after we got there and a cook rocking it from the moment we got there – very impressive. Sure it is kinda shabby-chiq, but just overlook that and be ready to have some great food. My wife had country skillet, not overloaded with half cooked potatoes like most and very tasty. I had the chili-cheese omelette(homemade chili) and it was awesome; it was served hot & stayed hot the 20 minutes I took to eat it. Oh I almost forgot they have homemade baked goods – like six kinds of butter tarts(95 cents – easily worth double), cinabuns and I think rice pudding the day we were there. Took one pecan tart and one peanut butter tart to go, which we thoroughly enjoyed later that afternoon. Good solid breakfast to get your day going, try this place before it gets known and there is a line up half way down the block.
