We had lunch here on our way back from vacation recently.For non-locals it’s a little off the beaten path but is relatively close to the Ambassador Bridge. If we hadn’t been visiting family who live in the area I’d have never found it.It a gem of a local pub; street front, nice big windows but a little dark inside. Lots of raw-ish woods and an easygoing atmosphere. Service was friendly and pleasant although just so-so in terms of speed.The menu is pub food but it’s done pretty well. We had a mix of stuff – burgers sandwiches soup and salad, and it was all good. They also have an excellent beer selection (yay!), and the prices were pretty reasonable.My only real beef is parking is a bit of a challenge- we lucked into a street spot nearby but on a busy night I could see it being an issue.I love spots like this – if you like a pub, this is a pretty good one, and better than many I’ve been to in downtown Windsor.
